Swarm Field: The Power of Light Attraction explores the tension between human-driven industrial growth and the resilience of the natural world. Employing industrial materials such as laser lights and electric cable, the installation offers a critique on the impact of urban light pollution on insect populations. The audience is invited to interact with the artwork by illuminating transparent paper blooms suspended on cables, representing a new form of ‘natural’ habitat, shaped and distorted by industrial influence.
