Whether Weather mechanically breaks up a homogenous beam of white light and scatters it into a myriad of colourful pieces. The interference created by the different speeds of the huge propellers is organised into a pure composition, with sounds of varying intensity with the different phases of split-up white light alternating. When the high-precision machine brings the propellers into synch, their joint silhouette on the white screen also transforms. The turbulence generated by the harsh, dominating colours, the whizzing sounds and the rapid rotation is playful and aggressive, attractive and devastating, simultaneously bringing us closer to understanding the nature of light and challenging our notions of the physical properties of reality.
