OTTWW is an uninterrupted, complex and continuous line running across the walls of the room in the form of a UV-sensitive thread stretched by nails. Inspired by the classic poem Ode to the West Wind by 19th-century English poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, the conceptual work builds on the artist’s earlier graphic variations around the letter W.
The artist, a pioneer of computer art, translated the poem into an enigmatic algorithm. The undecipherable logic of the algorithm is compensated for by the sensory experience of the rhythmic line.
